Hiero SDK C++

Hiero is a Linux Foundation ledger project. My change turned on the TCK unit tests in the Linux CI builds, so the compatibility suite runs on every push instead of only on a maintainer’s machine. Merged 3 February 2026.

The Good First Issue template now links the community calls, so a new contributor knows where to ask before they start. Merged 16 February 2026.

KanaDojo

A Monkeytype-style site for learning Japanese. I added a trivia question about Lake Biwa, Japan’s largest lake. Small, and the first one of mine that got merged, on 1 February 2026.

What I took from it

Contributing upstream is mostly reading: the contributing guide, the CI config, what maintainers ask for in review. Then the change itself is short.
